Refresher Course

This course is for eligible midwives who are registered with the NMBA, and who meet the Recency of Practice Registration Standard including holding current registration within the last five years.

The Program delivers 39 hours of eLearning.

The price is $1300 for non members and includes 12 months ACM membership or $900 for ACM Members.

Clinical Requirements

Midwives looking to refresh their clinical skills can start by contacting our Midwifery Refresher Partners.

Midwives must typically meet the NMBA Recency of Practice Registration Standard and hold a general registration to undertake a clinical refresher. Midwives needing to update clinical skills to meet regulatory requirements such as conditions on registration will need to follow the guidelines of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for re-entry to practice.
