Michelle Warriner
Michelle Warriner is an endorsed midwife working in private practise. Michelle is the chair for the Queensland committee for the Australian College of Midwives. She was in the first cohort of endorsed midwives in Australia, studying at Flinders University. Michelle’s career expands over remote midwifery in first nations communities in WA, MGP’s for vulnerable populations caring for young mothers, refugees, and then into private practise for the last twelve years. Michelle has had the privilege of supporting the design, implementation, and operation of innovative midwifery models of care such as BIOC North and My Midwives Brisbane. Michelle is passionate about continuity of midwifery care and midwives supported to work to their full scope of practise. Over the last twelve years she has supported families choosing a home birth or a birth in hospital as a credentialled midwife across Brisbane Metro North and Toowoomba. Michelle is passionate about mentoring and supporting midwives into private practise and home birth. Her recent postgraduate qualifications in health service management will assist in one of her dreams of contributing towards expanding continuity of midwifery care in Queensland and Australia.

Koen van Venetie
Koen is a Digital Health Educator at the Australian Digital Health Agency. He has 7 years of experience working in IT, as a usability specialist. He also comes with 5 years teaching experience in a range of ages and settings, from formal early childhood and tertiary education through to science education in the public sector. He is passionate about helping people to connect with technology and show how digital tools can improve patient care and help healthcare providers streamline their approach.
