The Port Lincoln Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse who will provide evidenced based care nursing and/or midwifery services in a health care setting. As a nurse, he/she will be working with children, youth, women and their families where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds and will need a demonstrated ability to recognise and respond to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalate appropriately.
The successful applicant must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate and must be an Australian Resident or hold a current working visa and have a current driver's license and willingness to drive.
As this is a part time vacancy working 48 hours per fortnight over a 7 day roster, salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. The position is primarily located at Port Lincoln but the incumbent maybe required to work from other sites within Eyre and Far North Local Health Network area.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
