Speakers

Dr Megan Cooper

Megan is a Senior Lecturer and the Course Coordinator of Midwifery Programs at Flinders University. She is also the South Australian Branch Chair and a Fellow of the Australian College of Midwives. As a researcher with a keen interest in exploring the experiences of women and practitioners, Megan has built her research portfolio around listening to and promoting the philosophical principle of woman centred care. Through projects examining induction of labour and the use of water immersion for labour and birth, Megan is passionate about ensuring women's voices are heard and that their choice are supported. With an expanding portfolio, Megan is engaged in research projects that span clinical, educational, and theoretical aspects of midwifery. This project was underpinned and driven out of these experiences.

Post Conference Dinner

Following the conference, please join other delegates for a casual meal at the Trailer Boat Club at 6pm.  Please register so numbers can be managed with the venue.  Register here.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change, however ACM has contractual commitments with venues for in person events and as such requires adequate written notice for any cancellations. From 1 January 2024, the following will apply to requests for cancellations/refunds:

  Cancellation more than 28 days prior to event date        - Full refund provided (minus an admin fee of $75.00) 
     
  Cancellation less than 28 days, but more than 14 days   - Credit applied to profile for future use (minus an admin fee of $75.00)
     
  Cancellation 14 days or less prior to event date    - No credit or refund provided
