About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Clinical Nurse and/or Midwife within the Women and Children's Division.

In this role you will assist in leading and growing our Continence Service.
The core function of the role of the Clinical Nurse/Midwife role includes (but is not limited to) providing a consumer-focused approach in the planning, implementation and evaluation of women’s continence care designed to meet the individual needs of patient’s referred to the continence service for assessment, counselling, and care.
As a Clinical Nurse/Midwife, you will provide nursing services in a variety of health service settings which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study, developing from a competent to proficient practitioner. In this role you will accept accountability for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff. This role continues to be predominantly clinical in nature, however employees are assigned appropriate portfolios, have hands on involvement in the group rehabilitation program and provide case management in close coordination with the multi-disciplinary team.
To be eligible for this position, you must:
• be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate OR
• be registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate OR
• be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
