Position Title: Clinical Midwife - Midwifery Group Practice (Weipa)

Location: Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, Weipa Hospital

Remuneration:
- Base salary between $96,909.00-$103,768.00 p.a (35% loading applied to ordinary rate)

The caseload midwife will provide primary midwifery care for an allocated group of women (30-40 all-risk clients), in collaboration with other health care providers within the Midwifery Group Practice, at Weipa Integrated Health Service and the surrounding remote communities within a continuity of care model.

• High standard of written and oral communication skills in a cross-cultural environment.
• Ability to research, use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position.
• Ability to provide clinical education and support and demonstrate own ongoing professional development by maintaining mandatory training.
