Are you interested in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and remote communities, and contributing to better outcomes? The Australian Nurse-Family Partnership Program (ANFPP) is a primary health, evidence-based behaviour change program that is delivered through home visiting as part of the Closing the Gap campaign.

During the home visiting program you will have the opportunity to journey alongside women and their families throughout pregnancy and until the baby is two years old. It is a client-centred and strengths-based program where the Nurse Home Visitor works in partnership with Aboriginal Family Partnership Workers in the remote communities of Wurrumiyanga (Tiwi Islands), Maningrida, Gunbalanya and Wadeye.

As the Nurse 4 you will be located in Darwin and will travel by light plane and 4x4 wheel vehicle most weeks. Applicants with Midwifery and/or Child Family Health Nursing qualifications are encouraged to apply.

• Overnight travel attracts travel allowance payment.
• Intensive training is provided by the ANFPP National Support Service and Top End Health Service.
• You will be part of one of the 13 ANFPP sites across Australia and The Nurse-Family Partnership International Program.
