Working with women who have premature rupture of membranes (PROM)
_
Presented by Brian Peat
Born in Sydney, I went to school and to University of Sydney. However like a lot of young men, I was unsure of my path. I failed university and went to the university of life, where I worked as a trainee psychiatric nurse, in various construction roles and as a truckdriver before eventually going back to study, got into medicine after a year of science and never looked back. I was committed to O&G by 4th year and did my specialist training at King George V Hospital under the mentorship of Dr Andrew Child. In 2001 I decided to move my family to Adelaide for a number of reasons including job opportunities and lifestyle choices. Over the last 10 years I have gradually cut back my hours maintaining a healthy work life balance. My interests are health politics and best practices in obstetrics.
