Come join us at Westmead Hospital, a tertiary Referral Hospital and one of the largest Maternity care hospitals in the state. Westmead is situated close to the vibrant Parramatta CBD with easy access to public transport.

Westmead has a strong midwifery influence and you will be actively supported to practice to your full scope. We support you to gain advanced skills such as cannulation, suturing, homebirth, breech birth and grading as a Clinical Midwifery Specialist.
The Dragonfly Midwife will collaborate with their team, Aboriginal Health Practitioner/Workers, Clinical Midwifery Consultant and medical team to provide culturally safe antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care to Aboriginal women, babies and their families.
