Port Lincoln Hospital is looking for a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife to provide nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings.

The Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife will providing evidenced based care, developing clinical skills while keeping up to date with professional standards of practice and quality management initiatives consistent with organisational policies. He/she will be working with patients and their families where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds and will recognise and respond to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalating appropriately.

To be eligible to apply applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

This is a part time vacancy, working 48 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. In addition to the annual salary package, we also offer salary sacrifice benefits, employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
