About the role

Mater Mothers' Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Midwives to join the team in our Birth Suites and Pregnancy Assessment Centre. We have multiple temporary opportunities available on fixed term contracts.

The Pregnancy Assessment Unit, managed by Mater Midwives, arranges care in the same way as hospital emergency departments, by using a triage process to prioritise women according to their individual situation.

Salary range: $36.32 - $46.67 (RN1) per hour plus superannuation 

What you’ll be doing

You will be providing exceptional care to both public and privately funded women ranging from the care of normal, low risk women through to complex obstetric and medical care requiring an extensive multidisciplinary approach.

About you

This role requires an enthusiastic and dedicated Midwife to provide exceptional midwifery care and is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly skilled and professional multi-disciplinary team, utilising your enthusiasm and midwifery passion for the delivery of best practice within a supportive and professional environment.

The successful candidate will have:
